Zendesk

Cardlytics maintains an integration with the customer service software: Zendesk. This integration monitors tickets that you choose to share with the Cardlytics Zendesk account for your customers' inquiries into the state of a reward. Examples of why your customer may choose to inquire on a reward may include:

  • Why didn't I receive cash back for this transaction?
  • What is the state of my cash back?

If you use Zendesk for your customer servicing, you can leverage our Zendesk integration for low friction rewards ticket servicing.

How it works

How you actually choose to finally configure Zendesk will be up to you and your Zendesk administrator. We will want to coordinate connecting our Zendesk environments together.

  • You will configure your Zendesk account to share tickets with Cardlytics's Zendesk account.
  • You will configure a custom field for your tickets: transactionId.
  • You can optionally configure a custom field for your tickets: userId if your ticket's requester_id is the userId present on the transaction.
  • Cardlytics systems will monitor tickets shared from your Zendesk account and will record the disposition we have for the transactionId for the userId passed into us.
